Evmorfia (Efi) Fotakidou is a specialist orthodontist with international training and a multifaceted professional background. She combines academic excellence with clinical experience across the full spectrum of orthodontic treatment — from children and adolescents to adults.
She completed her undergraduate studies at the School of Dentistry of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2008, while also graduating from the Military Academy of Officer Corps in Thessaloniki with the rank of Second Lieutenant, Medical Corps Dentist.
She completed her orthodontic specialization at the Center for Advanced Dental Education of Saint Louis University in the USA, through a three-year clinical program completed in 2015. She earned the MSc degree with her thesis in the specialty.
In 2018 she successfully passed the Ministry of Health Orthodontics specialty exams. She holds certifications in the Invisalign system (clear aligners) and the WIN lingual orthodontic bracket system.
She served as an attending orthodontist at the Orthodontics Department of the 401 General Military Hospital of Athens and has been an associate of Dental-i since 2020. She is also attending the master’s program in Epidemiology and Research Methodology at the NKUA School of Medicine.
She is a member of the Athens Dental Association and of the Society for Orthodontic and Maxillofacial Study and Research.
